The Inception

Founded by Aerospace Engineer Jack Jefferies (aka. Jarf), MIC aims to deliver quality affordable products to the ever more competitive music scene.

“I’ve seen sample packs with half these sounds for around $20. Definitely worth the price.”

Inspiration

“Audio engineering, signal processing and programming all have great crossovers. We live in a world where things are so mind blowing that it is impossible for most people to find words for what’s in their heads. Modern weaponry is probably the craziest thing out there, so we will apply the same attitude and aesthetics to the products we create.”

About Us

MIC aims to deliver precision packages. Plug and play libraries which empower the modern producer to create music which is awesome and aggressive without compromise. We use industrial sound design to it’s fullest to achieve a sound previously thought impossible by the means of software alone.

“Whenever I need help with sound design or a bit of inspiration, I just look up Argent Shotz on my downloads and trust in MIC.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What do these libraries contain?

One-shots, percussion, loops, interactive effects and processing suites using Kontakt’s (Native Instruments) brilliant interactive player. “Alpha” versions of products act as standalone sample packs containing some of the samples. “Beta” versions are a tester option with less features to test it out for yourself!

Everything is included in the full versions of products.

What makes the workflow so good?

We work closely with a range of different artists at different skill levels to test how easy a product is to use. This also lets us hear how people like to use it and what they prefer to do. We then give them more of what they like!

Do I need the full version of Kontakt?

No, not to use our samples. We provide all the samples and Kontakt instruments. You can even use your preferred DAW or sampler of choice!

Will there be plugins in the future?

There are plans to. We want to create ways to synthesise all our libraries so that artists can have full creative control.
